Today is my last free day.

I’m thanking God for a job offer even in such a time as this!

Well, don’t know what to expect tomorrow. Only can trust God …

Worship First

 

Right attitude – worship

We had a night of divine experience together last night where we all as a church across the services united our hearts as ONE in worship. I believe only one encounter with God, my life will never be the same and I did challenge some guys in D2 to expect the same thing. Expect to have a divine encounter with God. Yet, I prayed to myself that may I not take from God but rather give to God. In fact, it’s not easy to give a worship to God when I don’t feel like doing so.

Before worship night, we conducted an 18 lesson class, we taught the people about how to victoriously overcoming problems in our lives. As i was preparing for this lesson, God spoke in my heart, he wanted me to teach with people with my life example, not just a word coming from my mouth but also that I will demonstrate it in my action so people can see that “yes, we can learn to bibilcally overcome problems in our lives!”. Action speaks louder than words. God’s words are GREAT but if I don’t apply it – it’s NOTHING! One of the keys of how to overcome problems is by having right attitudes. God told me that having right attitude toward problems is to present those problems to God in worship.

I gave it all to God - my feeling, my plan, my agenda. I give them to him as a form of worship. May it pleases Him.

Be seen … Be shown

Have you ever wanted whatever good things you do to be seen and be shown to other people? Have you ever wanted to be seen, be shown, be noticed by other people? And have you ever wanted to be recognised by at least one person which you may think that if only that person see what I’m doing, I will be recognised as a “good” person.

Why man run after praise and encouragement from people knowing that people can fail us anytime? I don’t want to be seen be shown by man. I know God is not blind! Thank God for changing me from Pharisee to Jimmie!

Happy 19th Birthday Daniel!

Daniel .. I am so blessed to have you in my life as my sheep. It is my joy and privilege to be someone who guides your journey in God; for my very heartbeat is for you to become all you can be in God; is for you to grow and grow even further than me! Thank you for letting me speak into your lfe and accepting me as your spiritual mentor.

You have now reached 19th year of age. And I believe with all of my heart that God has already installed great things for you in years to come. This year, you have grown to be a man whose heart is open and submissive to God. You have grown to understand what does it really mean to serve God and live one’s life for God. I can say nothing except thank God for He is the One who transformed your life to be as such and He will continue to transform your life as long as you allow Him to do so. I am only here to plant and water you but God is the one who will make you blossom.

May you continue to love God with all your heart and fix your eyes on Him always. May you run the race that God has marked for you (not just walk but RUN!) and remember that I am always here running beside you!

Ambition

I’ve never used the word “ambition” in my conversation with God. Rather I use the words “goal” or “plan”. While I was spending time reading the Word of God this morning, God flashed up the word “ambition” in my heart. As I begun to ask the Lord “why ambition?” He told me that having life goals is good but if I keep holding on to it – it will become my ambitions!

Ambition according to the dictionary means
1. something that you want to achieve very much ;or
2. desire or determination to be successful

Next question God wants me to ask myself is – Are my ambitions for myself or are they for God and God’s people? Are they all about me me me - Jimmie Jimmie Jimmie or about Jesus Jesus Jesus!!! I believe the more I mature in God the more ambitions need to be less for myself. May I draw the conclusion that it is good to be ambitious for God as long as I’m not too focus on it for otherwise ambitions will become my God! 

Ray shared to me that may we be like a soccer ball that get kicked around by God and be a soccer ball that can be rolled easily so when God kicks!  It’s true. May I always be flexible to move with God and may I not hold on too tightly on any seen things for when God asks me to move, I won’t be too hurt.

Don’t focus on your ambitions but God!!!
