Above all, I live for Your glory

There are many praise and worship songs that have extreme meanings. Honestly, there are many times when I sing praise and worship songs unto God and I don’t mean it. It is because sometimes, the meaning of the songs can be very extreme! Very hard to live out. Praise and worship songs express that our God set a high standard for His chidren to live for Him.

Recently, a part of a song “Evermore” where it says “Even if my world falls, I will say, above all, I live for Your glory” keep playing in my mind.

Rather than giving a lip service unto God, I want to be the one that live for God from what I sing. I come to realise that being a true worshipper doesn’t mean that I can lead worship skillfully or I can sing nicely or I express yourself outwardly or whatsoever but when I worship God, do I really mean what I sing. Does the words of a song convicted my heart? Do I really want to live a life like what a sing. That’s called worshipping in true.

Today, ”even if my world falls, I wil say, above all I live for Your glory”. I want God to test me (wooo I’m scared) . I want Him to bring me to the point where my world is really fall. Like really really fall, so that I can  learn how to really really really and really live for God above circumstances. I believe I will not be able to know how strong my conviction in God is unless God fails my world. So test me! I want to see how firm I am in God. I want to see how strong my conviction in God is.  In fact, God is testing me now and it is tough, very tough, I tell you. I have come to the point where I am at the edge, nearly fall, waiting for God’s deliverance. But I tell my heart that ”Even if my world falls I will say ABOVE ALL I LIVE FOR YOUR GLORY!”

It is my conviction. No one can take it away.

My dear brother, Jimmie! The lyrics” Even if my world falls, I will say ‘Above all, I live for Your glory” was in my mind last week as well. I keep asking myself, my world is great compared with some other disable or homeless people. But…if my world falls, can I still smile and happy every day? Can I still live for God? I questioned myself! The answer is God won’t let us fall because His is FAITHFUL, even sometimes our world falls, He will pick us up soon and make us move in further step..which will make us more mature in Him! :)

Sunny, it is interesting that God’s word is really fit into the season of our lives as you can see, God deliver the same message to His people. I believe as Daniels, God is teaching us how to really live for Him. The time has come.

    Bless you.
