Another soul saved .. how about my loved one?

Yes! all praise be to God, another soul is saved in Your hand. Sunny’s friend Ting has accepted Chirst. It is such a joy to pray for her last night at prayer meeting. I saw Ting at uni and I congratulated her on her new life. Her face was bright, fulled on joy and smiles. She has become a new creation in God.

Last night when we prayed for her, I saw Sunny’s tears pouring down for her friends. I really admire her love for her friend. When I saw Sunny tears of joy poured down for her friend. It reminds me of my great Thai friend, Paul.

I told God that, God I want to be in Sunny’s position one day. I want to be the one praying for my friend, Paul, to receive Christ. I just wish God that one day, my friend Paul will come and receive Christ just like Ting.

I was discouraged a bit, I feel that I may influence many lives, but for just one life – Paul, why can’t I influence him. Why can’t I get him saved in God’s arms. What else to do have to do?!? Am I begging him to receive Christ .. well seem like it.

God paused me and He just said “Let me do my work, as for you just be my instrument” Whatever You want to do God… let it be done! With my human ability, knowledge, wisdoms. .. I tried already and it failed. Now God may you use me .. use me to change my friend’s life. Please use me just like You used Aaron to speak .. speak the truth out!

My humble prayer is that May you please save my friend Paul, I don’t know what to do God .. I leave it with You! In Jesus name I pray that he will come to know you one day… one day God… one day I hope that Paul will be standing in Ting’s position, willingly accepting You and  I will be standing in Sunny’s position .. praying for him with tears of joy ..

Testimony for Church

Below is a testimony I shared on Sunday Service. It was my 2nd time sharing testimony at Hope Brisbane. God enabled my testimony to fit the theme of the church which is ‘Faith to impact the world through Missions’. Excitement could always take a better of me everytime I have to do things for church. May you be blessed from my testimony. I need to thank Ray for correcting my grammar and made my testimony less messy than the original one .. thanks Ray! Chris, thank you also for helping me with the photos and helping me contact with Christine Jang.

December Last year, our unit Daniel, we organised a Thailand Mission Trip. I had an opportunity to join the team of 8. The purpose of the mission trip was to nurture our passion for missions. However, it was not really my main reason that I went for this Mission trip. At that time, I just really wanted to help in facilitate the team by being their translator because I am a Thai and I wanted to show them around Bangkok and learn from our mother church, Hope Bangkok Church. It turned out this mission trip served its purpose. As for me, God used this mission trip to lay a burden of missions in my heart.

I would just like to name a few highlights in this trip, Firstly, I learned so much especially from one of the pastors in the mountain church, he is the one who pioneered the churches up there. He shared to us that when he started to pioneer the churches, he had to walk for kilometers from one point to the other among the tribes to share about the story of Jesus and he got persecuted by the people.

Secondly, I was touched by the simplicity of the giving heart of people. When we were there, the infrastructure on the mountain is not convenient. There is no electricity – they have to light up candles in the houses. The Toilets have no roof, sometimes water is not sufficient so they have to take a bath in the stream. Despite without a convenient infrastructure, people up there gave all they have to God, to the church. The people use whatever they have to build this church. There is an electricity generator. The church floor and wall were built with concrete. I could see their heart for God. They just sincerely love God. They encouraged me so much because I felt that I have a better living than the people on the mountains.

Thirdly, I experienced the joy of seeing souls saved. We went to share the Gospel in a famous university in Bangkok, it is such a great joy for me to see people decisions to receive Christ into their lives. On that day we expected to have 12 people who accepted Christ but amazingly we had 14 people accepted Christ. I begun to realise that people are precious to God.

To conclude, God once again, in the oceania convention this year, confirmed his calling to me in the area of missions. I realise that missions and saving the lost is a heartbeat of Jesus. God told me that if I love Him, I will need to care about what He cares about which is ‘people’. I truly appreciate and feel grateful to be in this church and being in Hope Movement. I love this church because this church has a vision of God’s heartbeat which is to help to fulfil the Great Commission. I said to God that I am willing to help fulfil the Great Commission in any way. If God can place such a desire within a small, young, little Thai guy like me and encourage me to make a difference. I believe that He WILL do the same to you too. You and me, we can make an impact in Brisbane, Australia and all over the world. Start from where you are now.
